Chessington Car Park Upgrade Complete

Chessington World Of Adventures
Sunday 7th July 2019

Serious improvements have been made to the car park infrastructure at Chessington World Of Adventures. The Explorer car park often referred to as the field or mud bath has been totally transformed over the past few months. When the British weather takes a turn for the worst and rains the car park main roads and fields would become a mud bath, often leading to the park having to deploy tractors to free stuck vehicles.

All of the main routes into the car park have now been tarmacked, the main road around the car park has now become two lanes. Improvements have also been made to guest safety, a new fence lining the guest path similar to the one installed at Alton Towers last year has been installed.

Along with all the new roads and fences. New banners and animals made from plants have been installed. From the small touches like warning, guests, and animals crossing to photo points in the car park so you remember where you parked. On the crossing signs, depending on what area you parked in, that animal will appear on the sign. The car park now looks totally different! Almost as if it's been designed by Merlin Magic Making.
