Winter's Tail 2021

2021
Chessington World Of Adventures

Step into the Christmas wonderland at Chessington World of Adventures this season and experience the beautiful Winter’s Tail. The park has been transformed into a magical winter festival with a variation of Christmas activities for all of the family.

One thing Chessington always does well, the grottos to ‘Meet Father Christmas’. Take a wander through the magical wonderland of snowy trees and twinkling lights, led by one of the many charismatic elves until you find Father Christmas hidden in the forest! We did not experience the meet and greet this year but from what we’ve seen it’s beautiful!

Once meeting Father Christmas, take your golden ticket over to the Toy Shop and see what you can collect! An interactive walkthrough to see all of the toys being created, with beautiful theming and so much detail. Once you reach the half way point, you can post your ticket into the magical letter box and collect your very own toy from down the slide. With lots to choose from, everyone in the family is happy!

Returning for another year is the Magical Christmas Kitchen. Make your way around the wonderful story of the busy elves creating their own cookies ready for Christmas day.  Get ready to sprinkle some Christmas magic and help the elves create you a cookie to take home.

Everyone’s favourite part of Christmas, The Wild Christmas Panto.  Join Hestia and Guenievere in uncovering the story of Christmas and saving the snow from melting.  The show is everything we love about Chessington, they always know how to involve a crowd and get everyone up singing and dancing. The story was lots of fun, including live singing and all of your favourite parts of a pantomime. With a fantastic cast and lots of familiar faces, this show is not one to miss!

Just as you thought the entertainment was over, the Elf Squad perform a flash mob while you’re waiting in the queue for your hot drinks and mince pies.  Over in Wild Asia, catch the 10 minute long flash mob, filled with Christmas favourites and festive cheer. Other performers on this stage include Mrs Christmas singing a live set and carol singers on various stages throughout the park. It’s great to see so much entertainment - you cannot miss it!

Don’t forget, rides are open at the event too, along with seeing the animals at the zoo! Oh what fun it is to ride, visit 10 of your favourite rides with minimal queues! The park is filled with decorations from head to toe, filling the air with a beautiful Christmassy park wide atmosphere. It was great to see Winter’s Tale back to it’s full potential, a real recommendation for all ages from us here at TPG!
