The Alton Towers Exhibition

The Alton Towers Exhibition is a limited-time attraction located inside The Chapel within the historic Towers, offering guests the chance to explore more than 200 years of the resort’s fascinating history.

The exhibition features a specially curated collection of artwork, merchandise, models, props, signage and memorabilia from across the years. Highlights include original Nemesis merchandise produced for the ride’s opening day, along with early concept designs showing how the attraction could have looked before it was built.

Guests can also see a detailed 3D model of Th13teen’s station, pieces of theming from Nemesis Sub-Terra and an original theming model created during the development of the Alton Towers Hotel. Several signs and props from Duel are on display, providing a nostalgic reminder of the former interactive dark ride.

One of the more unusual items is an Oblivion-branded condom, which was previously sold by the park as part of the ride’s merchandise range. The exhibition also contains a large selection of old attraction signs, promotional posters and other throwbacks celebrating memorable rides, events and moments from throughout Alton Towers’ history.

The Alton Towers Exhibition is open daily from 11am between 18th July and 28th August 2026.
