Launch Pad Officially Opens at Thorpe Park

The Launch Pad at Thorpe Park has officially opened and the new space is already proving popular with guests.

With a heatwave currently affecting the UK, the shaded areas around the sides of Launch Pad are being well used, with visitors and school groups taking the opportunity to relax out of the sun. The new shop is a welcome addition to the area, and it also looks as though a new food unit could be opening in the near future.

At the far end of the space, a large TV screen has been installed, replacing the stage shown in earlier concept artwork. However, the area appears to have been designed with flexibility in mind, meaning it could easily be adapted for seasonal events such as Fright Nights later in the year.
