Thorpe Park Fright Nights 2026 Update – Tenement, The Crows & Stitches
Work is now well underway inside Tenement, the brand-new scare maze for 2026. The doors to the new maze tent have been open, with workers regularly heading in and out carrying wires, cables and cable trays as the technical installation continues.
The location of Tenement is certainly a clever one, as it’s incredibly difficult to get a clear look inside or photograph much of what’s happening. However, we can now see wooden framework being installed inside the maze, giving us our first proper indication that the internal sets and walls are beginning to take shape. With today’s strong winds, black drapes could also be seen blowing out through some of the openings, offering another small glimpse of the work taking place inside. We’re particularly excited to see what Thorpe Park has planned for the maze’s exterior façade.
Elsewhere, installation has also started on the new location for The Crows. And how do we know it’s The Crows? The Mawkin Meadow sign can now be seen lying on the ground ready to be installed. From riding Nemesis Inferno, the new area underneath the lift hill already appears to have a very twisty layout, so it’ll be interesting to see how the experience uses the space.
Over at Stitches, things look much further along. The maze appears to be almost completely installed, with its outside façade in place and all of the banners now fitted around the exterior of the tent.
One slightly unusual sight nearby is the old Saw Alive boat, which looks like it could be starting to sink further into the water. Looking closer at our photos, the door on one of the old fire exits also appears to have completely fallen off. It’s certainly looking a little worse for wear after sitting unused for so long.
Across the rest of the park, there doesn’t appear to have been much additional Fright Nights construction since our last visit.
One area we’ll be keeping a close eye on is The Launch Pad, which we expect will become home to the Rebel Ball sponsored by Fanta. The big question is just how much the existing Launch Pad stage and surrounding area will change for the event.
With Fright Nights getting closer, construction is now really starting to ramp up across Thorpe Park, and we can’t wait to see Tenement, The Crows and the rest of the event come together.
