Zodiac Still Closed at Thorpe Park as Ride Vehicles Are Stripped

Zodiac at Thorpe Park has been closed since before summer 2025, and although the ride was seen testing at the start of the 2026 season, it now looks like it could potentially be facing removal.

The doors from the ride vehicles have been removed, suggesting Zodiac may need more maintenance than first thought. Hopefully this is only a temporary issue and the ride can return in time for Fright Nights, when the additional capacity would certainly be welcome.

It would be a shame to see Zodiac removed without a replacement, although a brand new flat ride in its place could be a great addition. This corner of Thorpe Park really does need more and newer flat rides.

With Slammer previously removed and never directly replaced, we just hope the same thing does not happen here.
