Every closed season Thorpe Park is transformed into a hive of activity. From buildings being repainted, areas being transformed and this year, a new rollercoaster being built. However this year the park is the busiest ever!

Working in conjunction with Thorpe Park we bring you this exciting Hyperia update from the other side of Monks Walk!

Exciting progress is underway at Thorpe Park as more components for the new Hyperia rollercoaster arrive. The top of the lift hill has been successfully delivered, marking a significant milestone in the coaster's construction.

Deliveries for Hyperia continue to arrive at Thorpe Park on what seems like a daily basis. Every few days Thorpe Park updates us on social media showing off new and exciting parts for the rollercoaster getting delivered.

On 20th February 2018, Thorpe Park announced that X, their indoor rollercoaster was going to be rethemed into the world’s first attraction themed around the AMC Series; The Walking Dead.

During the 2016 closed season £800,000 was spent restoring Tomb Blaster with a new target system installed. The same system can be seen at Legoland Windsor on Laser Raiders, the new system has been designed by the Sally Cooperation. http://sallycorp.com
