Minecraft Coaster’s Indoor Track, Possible Spike and Elevated Queue Take Shape

More track and supports have been delivered for Chessington World of Adventures’ new Minecraft rollercoaster.

Several additional sections of red track have arrived, with the letters “TE” visible on the pieces, believed to stand for “track element”. A large amount of black track and supporting steelwork has also been delivered, which is expected to form part of the indoor dark ride section of the attraction.

Construction of the main rollercoaster building is continuing, and the full length of the structure now appears to be taking shape. Work may have also begun on an elevated queue line, with the two lifts seemingly leading to a raised walkway overlooking the new area.

Towards the front of the attraction, metal reinforcement bars have appeared in the ground, suggesting that foundations for the Minecraft portal entrance may now be under construction.

The latest work on the dark ride building could also provide further evidence that the rollercoaster will feature a spike or another large indoor track element. One section of the building is noticeably taller than the surrounding structure, providing enough height to accommodate a substantial element inside.

It is going to look incredible once the outdoor sections of red track begin to be installed around the area.
