The replacement for Hocus Pocus Hall, Room On The Broom is set to open in 35 days. Work is continuing on the outside of the building with the queue line for the attraction set to be extended around the side of the Burnt Stub Building.

Hotel Guests and Merlin Annual Pass Holders are entitled to 30 minutes early ride time at Alton Towers Resort. This years line up has now been confirmed via the park's website. Mutiny Bay : Wicker Man

Opening times for the 2019 theme park season at Alton Towers have been released. Following suit to the past few years the park will be open from 10 am until 4 pm on low season weekdays then 10 am until 5 pm on weekends and busier weekdays.

Tickets for the Alton Towers Dungeon have gone on sale today. Costing £5 online or £7.50 on the day your laugh and scream all the way through the Dungeon.

Kick start another year of family fun, big thrills and loafs of adventures with a Merlin Annual Pass. Today started the month long promotion on Merlin Annual Passes, priced from £99 per person. Annual passes can be brought online and then collected via your nearest theme park.

A new season pass type has launched today at Alton Towers. Called the 2019 Season Pass Premium the pass gets you entry into the park just like the basic one but has a few differences.

Chessington has announced that the event Animal Adventures will have selected rides open, along with How to be a Zookeeper LIVE! — an interactive show where you’ll learn what it takes to become a Zoo Keeper and meet some of our animals along the way!

2 months into the closed season some of the TPG team decided to take a drive down to Thorpe Park and check out some of the work going on behind closed doors.

During closed season at theme parks, all roller coasters are inspected. Trains are stripped down to component levels and tracks are checked for cracks. With Nemesis being the oldest rollercoaster at Alton Towers it has had its fair share of work done to it.

Work on the star gazing pods is progressing nicely at Alton Towers, more pods have been installed since our last visit along with grass starting to be put down alongside some of the pods. Lighting poles have also started to be installed around the camp site.
