It's 2024 and work on the construction site for Hyperia has started again. Workers returned to work on Tuesday and have been hard at work to get the rollercoaster built and ready for the 2024 season.
Thorpe Park has published opening times for the 2024 theme park season. The park reopens on Sunday 24th March 2024 and closes on Sunday 3rd November 2024. Opening hours for the season vary with the park open from 10 am - 7 pm during August.
Thorpe Park has updated their website with events for 2024 however there's one event missing! Carnival the Parks Summer event looks to have been cancelled.
Minifigure Speedway is rapidly progressing! More track has been delivered to the car park storage yard and it would appear that 90% of the track for the rollercoaster has been installed. In the storage yard/car park track and catwalk for the lift hill can be seen.
Work on the Legoland Windsor Woodland Village is progressing well, with more lodges installed in the old events field. We've also spotted some of the log cabins installed on the edge of the site.
It's our last update of 2023 for Hyperia and it's been a huge year for Thorpe Park! Old Town is gone and in its place, the UK's tallest and fastest rollercoaster is being built! Over the past few months, we've been documenting the construction of Hypera previously known as Project Exodus.

Every closed season Thorpe Park is transformed into a hive of activity. From buildings being repainted, areas being transformed and this year, a new rollercoaster being built. However this year the park is the busiest ever!
