Today, the Swedish government decided to change the special regulations for amusement parks, which has been in effect since March 2020. This means that Swedish amusement parks are allowed to open from June 1st, with special restrictions. Liseberg will open the gates on June 3rd.
With Boris Johnson giving the all-clear to lift more UK Cornavrius rules, UK attractions will be allowed to open indoor attractions from Monday 17th May 2021.
Infinity Bar & Kitchen at Thorpe Park has finally installed mobile dining allowing guests to order food and drinks from a QR code located on each table. The same system which was installed at Alton Towers and Chessington during the 2020 season.
Thorpe Park has rolled out contactless pouring at all of the coke freestyle refill stations across the park. Allowing guests to refill their freestyle capsule without touching any of the machines.
Lego Mythica is due to premiere in 24 Days at Legoland Windsor Resort. Opening 29th May 2021, Lego Mythica is the biggest investment at the park to date with the addition of the UK's first flying theatre and new 2 junior drop towers.
In 2021, Alton Towers will see a new event come to the resort, Mardi Gras. A carnival-inspired takeover of the resort that runs from 22nd May to 20th June that we are sure will be a whole load of fun. Not much has been known about the event, until now.
On Saturday 1st May, Blackpool Pleasure Beach will be open until 10pm for May Day Bank Holiday weekend fun during the first Late Night Riding event of the year.
