Alton Towers Extends Summer Opening Hours Until 7pm

Alton Towers has extended its summer opening hours!

From 14 to 31 August 2026, the theme park is now scheduled to remain open until 7pm, giving guests an extra hour to enjoy the rides and attractions during the busy summer holidays.

The extended hours will also cover the final days of the resort’s Minecraft Meet the Mobs event, which runs until 28 August.

It is great to see longer opening hours added for the summer, giving guests even more time in the park before the season moves towards Scarefest.
