Alton Towers Opens New History Exhibition Inside The Chapel

The mysterious boxes outside The Chapel at Alton Towers have finally been revealed!

A new limited-time exhibition celebrating more than 200 years of Alton Towers history is now open inside the historic Chapel.

Guests can explore a specially curated collection of historic artwork, memorabilia and treasured artefacts from the resort’s archives, showcasing generations of memories from across Alton Towers’ incredible history.

The Alton Towers Exhibition opens on 18 July 2026 and will remain open daily from 11am until 28 August 2026. Entry is included with general theme park admission.

It is fantastic to see more of the resort’s history being displayed for guests to enjoy.
