Minecraft Meet the Mobs Coming To Alton Towers Resort This Summer

For the very first time, Alton Towers Resort is bringing Minecraft to life on park with an exclusive one time event for 2026.

Running from 18th July until 28th August 2026, Minecraft Meet the Mobs will give guests the chance to step into the world of Minecraft with a brand new pop up event included with standard park admission.

The event will feature the UK’s first exclusive Minecraft Mob trail, with all new baby Mobs placed across six Minecraft inspired scenes around the resort. Guests will be able to collect stamps on a special game card as they explore the trail, unlocking an exclusive digital Minecraft reward once completed.

Fans will also be able to meet official Minecraft costume characters in real life, including Iron Golem, Chicken Jockey and Creeper. There will also be a selection of Minecraft puppets to discover, including yellow axolotls, baby pandas, pigs, goats, chicks, wolf pups and more.

To add even more to the experience, Alton Towers Resort will also be offering Minecraft themed snacks, including TNT popcorn and ice lollies, alongside exclusive Minecraft merchandise available to purchase during the event.

Minecraft Meet the Mobs is set to be a must visit summer event for families and Minecraft fans, bringing the much loved game to life in a fun new way at Alton Towers Resort.

The event is included with regular theme park admission and runs from 18th July to 28th August 2026.
