World of Minecraft Rollercoaster Building Begins to Close In
The World of Minecraft development at Chessington World of Adventures just keeps getting bigger. The rollercoaster building is now looking enormous, with significant progress made since our last visit to the park.
More staircases have been installed for what appears to be an elevated queue line, while sections of the building’s steel structure are now being covered. With views inside the building becoming increasingly limited, it looks as though the full rollercoaster layout could remain a mystery until the attraction opens in 2027.
Towards the front of the construction site, a new steel structure is also being installed, which appears to form part of the attraction’s shop or another guest facility.
All of the rollercoaster track previously delivered to Chessington remains stored in the car park, waiting to be installed. Once the building is fully enclosed, it may become much harder to follow the installation of the indoor sections of track.
Judging by the level of theming created for the current Minecraft: Meet the Mobs event at Alton Towers, this permanent Minecraft land has the potential to look incredible when it opens.
