Halloween season is about to start this week for us here at Theme Park Guide, as many events start for the season. However, there are that many events running throughout the season, it is hard to keep track of them all!

Evil has taken over in a post-apocalyptic world. Even more dark creatures than ever before rule and spread fear and terror in ‘Horror Nights − Traumatica’, the internationally distinguished horror event at Europa-Park.

Visit Chessington World of Adventures Resort on selected dates between Saturday October 12 to Sunday November 3, 2019, for a Howl’o’ween beyond your wildest screeeams!

Final preparations are underway at Thorpe Park for Fright Nights. Audio and lights have been testing for the new maze Creek Freak Massacre which appears to be almost complete with a new disabled access bridge now complete.

Its the most wonderful time of the year, no not Christmas but the last few weeks until Spooky season officially begins! Work on building the last few attractions at Fright Nights has begun.

Scarefest is due to begin in 28 days, starting on 5th October 2019 this years event sees two new attractions added. The Attic: Terror of the Towers and Darkest Depths which will be using the space previously occupied by The Welcoming in the Mutiny Bay Courtyard.

Recently submitted plans to the council show that Chessington World of Adventures is planning to remove Rameses Revenge the last remaining Top Spin in the UK and replace it with a brand new attraction. A drop tower ride similar to Maga at Paultons Park.

The countdown till Fright Nights begins at Thorpe Park has begun. This year sees the Fright Nights branding change and from what we currently know there will be 3 new attractions. 1 new scare maze, located inside the old Loggers Leap station, a new show and possibly a scare zone.

Alton Towers are currently trialing some features on Hex - The Legend Of The Towers. For the past few years, with the exception of Scarefest the attraction has never used live actors within the show scenes.

Something new is coming to Alton Towers in 2020! The Woobleworld building has been closed off with construction walls blocking it off from the public, in the past few years the Woobleworld space has been used for the Halloween attraction House Of Monsters.
