Rapterra

Rapterra is a launched wing rollercoaster at Kings Dominion and became one of the park’s biggest additions when it opened in 2025. Manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, the ride features winged seating with riders positioned on either side of the track, creating an exposed and thrilling experience. The coaster combines high speed launches, inversions and sweeping near miss elements with a prehistoric jungle inspired theme centred around a dangerous flying creature. Rapterra quickly became one of the park’s headline attractions thanks to its smooth ride experience, dramatic layout and impressive presence across the skyline.
