Reptilian

Reptilian is a unique family rollercoaster at Kings Dominion and is one of the few remaining bobsled coasters in the world. Originally opening as Avalanche, the ride was later rethemed and renamed Reptilian as part of the park’s Jungle X-Pedition style updates. Instead of traditional coaster track, riders travel through a concrete trough, giving the attraction the feel of a real bobsled run as trains twist and slide around the layout. The unusual ride system and smooth family thrills have helped make Reptilian a standout attraction within the park.
