LEGOLAND Windsor is celebrating 30 years, and there’s some special merchandise to mark the milestone! Highlights include a re-release of the original park map from when the park first opened in 1996, giving fans a nostalgic glimpse of the park’s early days.
LEGOLAND Windsor has officially reopened for the 2026 theme park season, although plenty of work is still ongoing across the resort as improvements continue.
LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is currently undergoing a major transformation at its main entrance. Following last year’s update to the park’s signage in line with the new branding, work is now focused on a significant overhaul of the entrance plaza.
Drench Towers at LEGOLAND Windsor is undergoing major work ahead of its reopening for the 2026 summer season. All of the models in the lower section of the water splash pad have been removed, and it looks like a new floor has been installed.
The permit to remove the Vikings River Splash ride has been approved, and demolition work is now in full swing. Heavy machinery is on site, starting with the removal of a section of the rapids to improve access.
The LEGO 4D Theatre at LEGOLAND Windsor has now closed. With the Sky Ride shutting down last year and the Space Tower having closed several years ago, this area is long overdue for a major refresh.

The entrance plaza at Legoland Windsor Resort is undergoing another major refurbishment, with a newly designed security screening area being built outside the park to create a smoother and more efficient arrival experience for guests.
LEGOLAND Windsor has submitted a site notice of application for prior approval for demolition. The application seeks a determination from the local planning authority regarding the method of demolition and any proposed restoration of the former Vikings’ River Splash ride.
