Since our last visit to Europa Park, the construction for Pirates in Batavia has progressed rapidly. The building is now fully enclosed and the facade for the building has started to be built.

The countdown has begun and it isn’t long until Rulantica opens at Europa Park. Opening on 28th November 2019, Europa Park doesn’t have long until the huge waterpark opens to the public and press.
Over the past few weeks, Europa Park has been rebuilding the facade to Pirates in Batviaia along with progressing with the main building for the attraction. However, with the construction of Scandivina soon to be opening and taking longer than expected to rebuild.
After just 13 month of construction, the Europa-Park owner family Mack reopens the Skandinavian themed area together with their guests.
Work on rebuilding the huge ride building for Pirates in Batavia is underway at Europa Park. Due to the size of the dark water ride, the building is never going to fly up over a few weeks. The old building contained offices, break rooms, servers and the old water ride.
Europa Park has confirmed that Scandinavia will reopen to the public from 5th July, with the official opening happening on 23rd July 2019. The information below was published on the parks social media channels earlier today.
The rebuilding of Scandinavia at Europa Park appears to be almost complete with the large entrance portals installed over the past few days. The area has been rebuilt from the ground up over the past few months following the large fire that destroyed Scandinavia and Pirates in Batavia.
Work is continuing at Europa Park to get Rulantica ready for it's official opening November 28th, 2019. Featuring 25 thrilling attractions and a poolside bar, the water park is the biggest investment into the Europa Park portfolio ever seen.
