Banshee

Banshee is one of the most intense attractions at Kings Island and was the world’s longest inverted rollercoaster when it opened in 2014. Built by Bolliger & Mabillard, the coaster suspends riders beneath the track as they race through multiple inversions, high speed turns and near miss elements. The ride’s eerie storyline and haunting themed queue are inspired by the legend of a screaming banshee spirit, helping to create a darker atmosphere before guests even board the train. With its smooth layout, dramatic drops and intense inversions, Banshee has become one of Kings Island’s signature thrill attractions and a favourite amongst coaster fans worldwide.
