Diamondback

Diamondback quickly became one of the standout attractions at Kings Island after opening in 2009. Manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, the hyper coaster reaches speeds of 80 mph and is known for its huge drops, smooth layout and powerful airtime moments. The ride features a long out and back design filled with large hills, sweeping turns and dramatic changes in direction, giving riders a near constant feeling of weightlessness. One of the coaster’s most memorable features is its splashdown finale, sending water soaring into the air as the train races towards the brakes. Diamondback remains one of the park’s most popular thrill rides and is widely praised by coaster enthusiasts.
