Oktoberfest begins at Thorpe Park Resort tomorrow, 7th September 2020. Final preparations are underway, as a huge stage has been built next to Derren Brown's Ghost Train and temporary food and drink stands have been installed.
During a visit to Thorpe Park today we've noticed that brand new security scanners are being trialled. Unlike current security measures across Merlin and theme parks around the world.
Construction at Crock Drop has slowed down a little, with the building now watertight it won't be long until we start to see metalwork for the rides theming installed and the ride craned into place in the next few months.

With the 2020 theme park season delayed due to Cornavrius, Chessington World of Adventures have announced that they will be extending the main theme park season into the end of November.
A brand new world is set to open at Paultons Park Easter 2021. Tornado Springs was originally set to open May 2020 the area is set in a midwest desert resort town in the American heyday of the 1950s.
Work is continuing quickly on Croc Drop. The main building structure is now complete, allowing work to start on building the station, queue line and plant room for the ride.
Blink and you will miss it! Work on Project Rex at Legoland Windsor is progressing rapidly! In our last post, we reported that foundations for the main ride were almost complete and that we expected the building to start going up around September time.
Thorpe Park has released brand new face masks for the 2020 theme park season. Costing £8 each, the same price as the current cheaper feeling face masks these feel a lot higher quality compared to the older ones.
