Legoland Windsor's newest hotel themed around the Knights Kingdom Castle has opened to guests today. The hotel has 61-rooms where families can choose between two room types, Knights or Wizards - each with separate sleeping areas for adults and children.

In the last of our daily updates of this week yet more of the lift hill for the ride has been constructed. And the first wooden struts of the first drop have been put into place. More concrete walls have been added to the station building and foundations continue to be poured in the pit.

Water effects on the adventure tree carousel at Chessington have returned after being turned on previously then turned off for a long period of time.

Scarefest is just around the corner, with no official line up revealed for this years event we can pretty much confirm that terror of the towers will be returning for 2017. The final scene in the maze / the strobe corridor looks to have been being set up over the past few days.

X at Thorpe Park appears to be closed for the next few weeks. Construction site fencing has been added around the site over the past few says suggesting that building work is going on inside the queue line or pyramid.

In the light of the rapids accident at Drayton Manor earlier this year Thorpe park has brought back an old rule on rumba rapids. In previous years the park introduced a rule where if your under 18 you needed an adult present in order to ride.

The Sun was shining and construction was in full swing on the wonderful Saturday at Alton Towers. The site has progressed a lot since our absence from the park due to us galavanting around Europe. The theming structure we reported on a few months ago and coming along nicely.

Nexo Knights Kingdom is one of the oldest areas at Legoland Windsor. Originally called CastleLand the area hasn't changed much over the years.

Ninjago World is now open at Legoland Windsor Resort. With the project still looking weeks off in our last update we where surprised the park managed to pull it off in such a short space of time.
