The Stargazing Pods at Alton Towers resort is set to open on 12th April 2019, and it would appear the new accommodation is ready for its first guests. All of the pods have now received door mats along with room number above the doors.
Towers Trading has never looked better at Alton Towers! Over the closed season, the park has spent a lot of time and money giving the sweets section of the Towers Trading shop a makeover. Looking like a scene from Charlie and the Chocolate factory the shop is almost unrecognizable.
The Alton Towers website has been updated with more information about the new Dungeons attraction. Just like the other Dungeons sites, the website has been updated with the route you will take through the attraction. Starting with The Judge and finishing with The Haunting.
Alton Towers is set to expand CBeebies Land in 2019 with a children’s duel drop tower ride called Peter Rabbit Hippity Hop and a new show called Teletubbies Big Band Live Show (from April). Peter Rabbit Hippity Hop
Over the past few weeks, Alton Towers have been repainting the Monorail station bright green. More work appears to be going on in the entrance plaza area, the entrance tower is also getting a repaint. Remaining the same colour the area around the tower has been cornered off.
Work on the stargazing pods at Alton Towers looks to be almost complete with paths to the pods being layed yesterday, more of the standard pods have been installed since we were last on site. However, we're yet to see the premium pods arrive on site.
Pirates and Princess’ have taken over Alton Towers Resort this February half term. With tonnes of Pirate and Princess theme activities for all the family, exclusive to Short Break hotel guests. No rides are open for the event however Sharkbait Reef by SEA LIFE is open during the day.
Alton Towers have started to release some of the new pin badges for the 2019 season over at the Resort hotels. Currently only 4 have been released with more expected over the next few weeks.
Alton Towers have begun auctioning off unique ride memorabilia from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: The Ride! The attraction will open as the Alton Towers Dungeon in March 2019.

Opening times for the 2019 theme park season at Alton Towers have been released. Following suit to the past few years the park will be open from 10 am until 4 pm on low season weekdays then 10 am until 5 pm on weekends and busier weekdays.
