Chessington World of Adventures resort is getting ready to re-launch its popular Halloween event renamed Howl’o’ween. Launching in 16 days’ time the park will play host to 2 horror mazes and 2 new shows, The Hairy and Scary show and Pumpkin High School of Rock.
Following problems with the ride at the start of the 2014 season Safari Skyway is to be closed for the remainder of the year. The ride hasn't been open for a few weeks with a permanent looking sign put on the gate telling guests that the ride wouldn't be opening today.
Starting Friday 24th October 2014 Chessington is launching its rebranded halloween event called “Howl’O’Ween” Previously known as Halloween Hocus Pocus the event will play host to 2 scare mazes and 2 brand new shows for 2014.
Today Chessington have released details on there new halloween event on their Facebook page. Previously known as Hocus Pocus the resort will be rebranding the event to “Howloween” a wild and spooky halloween adventure for 2014.
Whilst on park today we discovered that Chessington have got a new map for the summer season and the remainder of the season. Rather than showing the latest ride scorpion express on the front of the map the park has changed the front to advertise that the new Azteca hotel has now opened!
Chessington World Of Adventures is the next park to receive new queue time boards across the whole park. At the moment the park has only installed new ones at the two entrances to the park so that when you walk into the park you can see what rides are busy.
Over at Chessington World Of Adventures its all hands to the deck as the new Azteca hotel is set to open in 21 days on August 11th 2014.
Opening Summer 2014 is Chessington’s brand new hotel Azteca. The hotel looks to be almost finished with a few bits yet to be finished such as the bar entrance and the tunnel leading from the Safari hotel to Azteca.
Following the passing of Chessington's lioness Kalinga the resort have found another lion to join Ashok. Rani the new lioness was born at Rotterdam Zoo on 13/11/2011 and the zoo keepers are hopeful that in a few years times that we will see some cubs.
Amazu at Chessington world of adventures is a new tree top adventure playground featuring interactive sections where you can get up close and personal with monkeys. However just three weeks after opening late to the public the attraction has now been closed off in some sections.
The theme park season is back and over at Chessington the park hasn't looked better! Lots of work has gone on over the closed season and its all clearly visible when you walk around the park, Dragon falls was due to get a re theme this year but its been delayed due to untold reasons.
