Kalinga the lioness passes away
Some very sad news has come to light today, lioness Kalinga has died at Chessington World Of Adventures.
Work continues around Chessington World Of Adventures
Today was Chessingtons last day of being open for there feb half term event. With only two attractions being listed as open the park has done really well for entertaining kids and adults.
African Adventures trip report
Chessington opened it's doors for its February half term event today with selected rides and attractions opened. Although the website said that only Tomb Blaster and Hocus Pocus Hall was going to be opened the park opened Jungle bouncers and the flying elephants to entertain guests.

Preparations for Chessingtons next big hotel have started. Work has started clearing the site ready for foundations to be dug and installed.
Multi million pound makeover update
Over the course of this year Chessington World Of Adventures has been under going a £5 million upgrade. Rides across the park have received attention however the runaway mine train is the attraction receiving the most work. The ride is closed for the 2013 season but will reopen for 2014.
Halloween Hocus Pocus delivery
It's coming towards the end of the theme park season and it's the time that theme parks start to get their head into gear and start to get ready for Halloween. This year Chessington will be rethemeing the hocus pocus hall into a new attraction for 2013 called The Mystery of Hocus Pocus Hall.
HB Leisure Fights Back
HB Leisure the company that supply and operate the game stalls at all Merlin theme parks along with Paultons Park where caught on camera recently where they where found to be tampering with the game stalls.
