Alton Towers will once again be offering longer opening hours during May Half Term 2026 as Twilight at the Towers returns from 22nd to 31st May, with the park staying open until 8pm.

The countdown is on for the return of the popular water play areas at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort as Drench Towers and Splash Safari are set to reopen on 22nd May.

Work on Launch Pad at Thorpe Park continues to progress well, with the resin flooring now appearing to be complete across the area ahead of the attraction opening soon.

Experience longer days and even bigger thrills as Thorpe Park Lates return this May Bank Holiday. From 23rd to 25th May 2026, guests will be able to enjoy extended opening hours with the park remaining open until 9pm.

Plans have been published for a proposed walk through attraction building at Alton Towers. Set within X Sector on the former sites of Submission and Enterprise, the structure is described as having industrial themed finishes, which immediately sparks speculation about its purpose.

Legoland have submitted plans for a new rollercoaster to be installed on the site of the former Vikings River Splash ride at Legoland Windsor.

Installation of the rollercoaster track is continuing at a fast pace, and the layout is becoming much more defined as more sections go up. One of the most exciting developments is the addition of drive motors, now clearly visible along parts of the track.
