Back in September in 2014 Thorpe Park announced on their Facebook and Twitter page that the Flying Fish was to shut early for maintenance. This sparked theme park enthusiasts into overdrive starting a rumour that the park could be opening for February half term in 2015.
During a visit to the park today we noticed that Digger Challenge has started to be removed from the park. Rumours are currently going around that the ride could be being replaced with a new Disko ride from Zamperla for the new Lego Friends Area.
Work on the Enchanted Village at Alton Towers is well underway with the lodges being fitted and the tree houses being finished off. Grass banks are being built in-between the tree houses and the lodges to separate them.
Christmas is just two days away however Alton Towers has decorated both of its hotels for its Santa Sleepover events and people passing through.
In a recent email from Thorpe Park to our mailbox the park looks to have confirmed the starting date of the 2015 theme park season.
The closed season is here and the theme parks have shut there doors for the 2014 theme park season. Which means its time to start pondering what the parks will be building for next year!
Preparations for the Alton Towers 2014 fireworks display are well underway with audio being played around the area on Sunday evening. The Towers have been decorated with multi coloured lights again with moving lights being positioned around the lawn in-front of the towers.
Today Thorpe Park have confirmed that the Chief Rangers Carousel shall be leaving the park after 20 years of service. The ride is set to be removed at the end of this season for work to begin on the parks newest attraction set to open in 2016.
Today Thorpe Park have released plans via the local council planning website for a new indoor attraction set to open for the 2016 season.
LEGOLAND Windsor Resort have kicked off their Brick or Treat event with a bang with the first night of the LEGO Chima fire and ice fireworks event being held on Saturday night.
