Work on removing the chief rangers carousel at Thorpe Park is complete! Over the past few weeks, builders have been working throughout the week to cut steel bars and remove the old carousel from the park.
Thorpe Park has opened its doors once again for another year of thrill’s and spills! With the Carousel closing at the end of last year and a new attraction opening in just 2 weeks time, the park is well underway on making the final perorations to “I’M A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!
Work on removing the Carousel at Thorpe Park is well underway with the canvas removed from the top of the ride exposing the metal structure. All of the horses have been removed with the last few big items remaining such as the Teacup and Tropical travels ride vehicle.
On 7th and 8th March 2015 Legoland Windsor Resort Opened its doors for its Friends and Family day. With the park closed for 4 months its apparent when walking around that lots of work has been done! From new toilets installed around the park to areas being repainted and refitted.
After a few months of being shut, Thorpe Park today opened for the Annual Pass Preview Weekend. With all rides and attractions open with the exceptions of Samurai, Im A Celebrity Maze, Slammer, Rush, Quantum, Tidal Wave, Rumba Rapids and X.
Work on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Maze at Thorpe Park Resort is well underway with work inside looking almost done. Featuring scenes from the TV show such as Creepy Caves and Celebrity Cyclone this attraction looks set to be slightly different to the rest on park!
New For 2015! The year of the Penguins at Chessington World Of Adventures Resort. DreamWorks have teamed up with the park with a brand new live action show, Penguins of Madagascar Live: Operation Cheezy Dibbles. Taken from the Chessington website:
Be the first to see Thorpe Park when it opens to Annual Pass Holders on 7th and 8th March 2015! The park will be open exclusively for Thorpe Park and Merlin Annual Pass holders over the two days with the park open 10am till 4pm.
Built during the closed season, a brand new rollercoaster is coming to Alton Towers this year, located in CBeebies Land the rollercoaster will replace the bestie which was located in storybook land many years ago.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Maze new for 2015. Thorpe Park Resort has teamed up with ITV to bring the smash hit TV series to an interactive attraction. The maze will be a themed walkthrough experience where guests can take on three bush tucker trails.
Join captain Barnacles and his crew as the Octonauts head to CBeebies Land at Alton Towers with a brand new rollercoaster. Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure will open Saturday 21st March 2015 on the site previously occupied by the bestie.
