The new security entrance portal at LEGOLAND Windsor is progressing well, with coloured cladding now being added to the exterior of the new building. More LEGO models have also been installed in the entrance plaza, enhancing the overall atmosphere.
With Rumba Rapids now closed forever, attention is already turning to Fright Nights and where Thorpe Park could introduce a new maze next. One of the largest available spaces for a potential attraction could be the former Rumba Rapids ride area and queue line.

There have been several noticeable changes to Blue Barnacle at Chessington.
There has been huge progress on Launch Pad at Thorpe Park since our last look at the project. Tarmac flooring has now been poured and installed across the site, with rocks and planting beginning to be added around the area.
Work on the Hyperia splashdown effect looks to have started again, with all of the covers over the feature now removed. It also sounds like efforts to fix it once and for all may be underway, in the hope that it can finally be made reliable without impacting the ride experience.
Significant work is currently underway at Legoland Windsor to remove Vikings’ River Splash, with roughly one quarter of the ride now dismantled since our last visit to the area.
The Lego Studios 4D cinema at Legoland Windsor is currently being demolished, marking a rather sad end to a much-loved attraction.
With it now officially confirmed that Minecraft World will be coming to Chessington in 2027, banners have been installed on the construction walls surrounding the area. Work on the foundations for the large new rollercoaster is also continuing.
It won’t be long until PAW Patrol World at Chessington opens to guests, and it’s looking amazing!
WODAN Timburcoaster continues its gradual upgrade, with more sections of track replaced by manufacturer GCI. Over the past two years, the wooden coaster has been fitted with sections of hybrid steel track, improving ride smoothness while maintaining its classic feel.
