Scarefest construction
For the past few days we've been at alton towers and we went looking around the alton towers ruins which hosts the terror of the towers Halloween event. Now this year it seems that there is going to be more rooms for the terror of the towers event as more of the towers seem to be closing.
Summer BMX event
Over the summer holidays Alton towers are going to be hosting a BMX on their front lawn where there are going to be 4 shows a day each lasting around 30 minuets.
Alton Towers Live Preparations
With Alton Towers LIVE just around the corner the resort have begin building the stage for the event on the front lawn infant of towers street. The concert will be home to artists such as: JLS, Mcfly, The Saturdays, Eliza Doolitle and some more!
Yourday Closes
Yourday a old onride video capturing system went into liquidation 2009, where Alton Towers then took over the system at the start of the 2010 season. However it now looks like the Alton Towers Resort DVD which it was called shall not be running ever again!

Alton Towers Waterpark Maintenance
The Alton Towers Water Park is often closed for a couple of days at the start of January for its annual maintenance. However in 2011 the water park is going to be closed for a longer period of time.
Alton Towers Ice Rink
Alton towers have announced via there facebook page late last night that they have a temporary ice rink at the resort behind the Alton Towers Hotel. The ice skating rink is at an extra charge however its quite cheap. Its from £3 for children and from £5 for adults.
