The Towers close for scarefest work

In a sudden change of mind Alton Towers have changed the line up for early ride time for summer 2014.

The 5POOKY1 car at Alton Towers has made it's way onto the lawn for the reader of the season which can only mean one thing, scarefest is coming!! The car advertises the event telling guests when scarefest starts and ends.

At the start of the 2014 season it was obvious that the big queue time board that could be found at the end of towers street for most of the season last year would not be making a return this year.

CBeebies Land has now opened at Alton Towers. After some of the old farmyard being shut early last year ready for its big retime this year the land has now fully reopened to the public and with an amazing new theme!

Alton Towers introduced staggered ride opens last year with the flume and the rapids however this year they have extended it to nemesis sub terra, hex and ripsaw as well. This allows maintenance to concentrate on getting the major rides up and running for 10am.
