The Enchanted Village is now open! Here's the moment when the Mayor of the Enchanted Forest cut the ribbon - with a little help from the mischievous fable folk!

Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure has officially opened today! The rollercoaster is aimed at younger guests and is located in the corner of Cbeebies Land. The ride looks amazing is a great my first rollercoaster for younger guests.

Built during the closed season, a brand new rollercoaster is coming to Alton Towers this year, located in CBeebies Land the rollercoaster will replace the bestie which was located in storybook land many years ago.

Join captain Barnacles and his crew as the Octonauts head to CBeebies Land at Alton Towers with a brand new rollercoaster. Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure will open Saturday 21st March 2015 on the site previously occupied by the bestie.

The Alton Towers Resort Waterpark looks set to be closed from 5th January - 22nd January 2015. The waterpark closes this time of year for its yearly maintenance, this is where most of the waterpark is repainted and all of the interactive water features are fixed.

Alton Towers have confirmed the ride line up for their February Half Term 2015 event running from February 14th until 22nd. Tickets for the event can be brought from the recently refurbished Alton Towers website with annual pass holders gaining access to the event for free.

Work on the Enchanted Village at Alton Towers is well underway with the lodges being fitted and the tree houses being finished off. Grass banks are being built in-between the tree houses and the lodges to separate them.

Christmas is just two days away however Alton Towers has decorated both of its hotels for its Santa Sleepover events and people passing through.

Preparations for the Alton Towers 2014 fireworks display are well underway with audio being played around the area on Sunday evening. The Towers have been decorated with multi coloured lights again with moving lights being positioned around the lawn in-front of the towers.

With Scarefest due to kick off on the 18th October Alton Towers is hard at work setting up the scare mazes and walkthrough attractions.
