New for 2017, Thorpe Park has a brand new app! Currently just available on iPhones the app has queue times embedded into it, a custom map of the resort with all the attractions, food places and toilets located on it.

With Loggers Leap closed for the 2016 theme park season it comes as no surprise that no “redevelopment” work was done to the ride during the season. The ride was left to rote over the closed season and during the whole season.

Thorpe Park new divisional director
Today is a big day for Thorpe Park, the park has appointed a new divisional director. Dominic Jones is now responsible for the park and continuing to grow the theme park. Previously head of Merlin Midway attractions, such as London Dungeons, Shreks Adventure and The Sealife.
Thorpe Park 2017 Opening Hours
Opening times for Thorpe Parks 2017 theme park season have been uploaded to their website today. The park will open on Thursday 27 March and close on Wednesday 1st November. More information such as times of opening can be found on the Thorpe Park website.
Fright Nights 2016 Line Up
Fright Nights are returning to Thorpe Park for 2016 and the event promises to be bigger than ever. With the addition of Platform 15 running along the old Canada Creek Railway track route this years event is going to be interesting. Full maze line up:
Derren Browns Ghost Train V2
For the past two days Thorpe Park has been shut for the general public however a new sign about the ghost train has been put up. The poster talks about a “New terrifying destination arrives 2017”
Fright Nights Construction
Fright Nights is less than 2 weeks away and work is still underway to transform the island! All of the mazes look almost completely with finishing touches being made before actor training begins.
Derren Browns Ghost Train Reopens
Following the ride having issues Derren Browns Ghost Train has finally reopened today at Thorpe Park Resort. The ride had been unavailable for around 3 weeks due to essential maintenance work.
