WC16, the mystery continues as yet more of the structure is put up and more clues are posted on the minds wanted website. The structure surrounding the pit looks to almost be complete with the first section of what we think will become the shop being built.
Tidal Wave at Thorpe Park has shut for the reminder of the 2015 season. It is currently unknown the reason behind the ride closing however the park has put up a sign a the entrance to the ride and has changed the description of the ride on the Thorpe Park website.
Fright Nights are back and is set to be the scariest ever! With all mazes back from last year with the exception of studio 13 its all hands on deck to get the park ready. Fright Nights kicks off on 9th October and runs on 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24 October – 1 November.
With WC16’s foundations complete, work can now continue to finish constructing the shell of the building. Work has progressed well since our last update with more metal girders put in place towards the back of the site.

Volunteer your mind for a journey like no other coming to Thorpe Park Resort in 2016. Work on the new attraction looks to have been steady over the past few days with the final section of foundations complete.
Fright Nights is coming and 2015 looks set to be the biggest year of them all! New for 2015, The Big Top see’s a new maze added to the parks line up. The park posted a status on their social media channels two nights ago saying “Move over Director….there is a new player in town.
Could this be the end of the road for samurai at Thorpe Park. The ride has been closed for a long period of time now and the ride has struggled over the past few years.
A lot can change within a week and that has been proven by the WC16 building site this week. On Monday news broke that construction had gone vertical and within the past 5 days it looks as if the shell of the building has almost been completed.
Project WC16 at Thorpe Park Resort is progressing well with the pit and floor space of the building now outlined with metal rebar ready for concrete to be poured in the next few days (we suspect).
Over the past few days a video from the Vamps gig at Thorpe Park Island Beats event has gone viral on social media. The video of a dad dancing in the crowd has been shared on Facebook and social media and has been watched over 2 million times on YouTube!
